Copake Auction Inc. Hosts 33rd Bicycle & Automobilia Auction

Copake Auction Inc. will host its 33rd Annual Bicycle & Automobilia Auction on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 9 AM (EST). Featured collections include the Steve Stevens Collection from Colorado, the Meltz Pedal Car Collection, and items from the Marty Himes Estate, which comprises signs, posters, photos, trophies, Sprint Car, and Midget Racers. There will be 120 antique and vintage bicycles from a European collector available for auction.

Late additions feature Iver Johnson Bicycles with Rifles, an Indian Bicycle with Sidecar, a Malvern Racing Bicycle, and a Punnet Companion Bicycle.

Auction Details

In-house gallery preview dates and times are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, October 9-10, from 10 AM to 4 PM. All lots, including vehicles, will be available for inspection.

A Swap Meet will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, starting at 7 AM until Dusk, featuring free admission and a $25 vendor fee. Previous Swap Meets have drawn bicycle enthusiasts from various states, as well as from Germany, England, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Note that Copake Auction Inc. will no longer be open on Sundays and Mondays for pickup after Saturday auctions. Arrangements for pickup and delivery need to be made by calling 518-641-1935.

Buyer’s Premium and Tax Information

All items will be subject to a 20% buyer’s premium, with a 25% buyer’s premium applicable for Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, and Auctionzip. An 8% sales tax will be applied unless the purchaser has a sales tax exemption number.
