Horst Auctioneers Coin Sale in Ephrata, PA
Horst Auctioneers will host a coin sale event titled “The Voices of Experience” on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The sale is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM, with inspection available from 9:00 AM until the sale starts. The event will take place at the Horst Auction Center located at the corner of Rt. 322 and Durlach Road, approximately 2.5 miles west of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
Auction Lots
The auction will feature a total of 381 lots of coins and currency, including:
- Approximately 19 pieces of gold, both U.S. and bullion.
- Over 200 silver dollars in bulk lots.
- More than 80 single lots of silver dollars.
- All “CC” dates including 1889-CC ICG VG8.
- Currency including colonial, fractional, C.S.A., large and small U.S. types.
- Better grade type coins in various series, including scarce hobo nickels.
- $200+ in bulk and partial sets of 90% silver coins.

Accepted payments include cash or Pennsylvania checks. Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards are also accepted with a 3% fee. Note that out-of-state checks will require prior approval.
