Antique Tool Auction by Horst Auctioneers in Ephrata, PA
Horst Auctioneers is hosting the Summer Antique Tool Auction on Saturday, August 23, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. Preview times for the auction are scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will take place at the Horst Auction Center, located at 50 Durlach Rd., Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Additionally, a “Meet on the Grass” Tool Meet will occur on Friday, August 22, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, serving as a benefit event for MWTCA: Area P, held on the grass field before the auction preview.
Auction Highlights
The auction will feature over 450 lots of antique tools. Highlights include:
- Fine “Henry Disston & Sons, Celebrated Saws” saw-shaped trade advertising sign.
- Collection of Edge Tools including axes, hatchets, and various specialty knives.
- Rare wooden molding planes and metal planes, including different Stanley models.
- Shop-related tools such as clamps, tool chests, and a range of antique hand tools.
- Various models of handsaws and drilling tools.
- Antique references, tool catalogs, and other trade ephemera.
A garage area will commence at 10:00 AM, offering numerous antique tools in need of restoration.
