Antique Tool Auction Hosted by Horst Auctioneers in Ephrata, PA
Horst Auctioneers will conduct the Summer Antique Tool Auction on Saturday, August 23, 2025, commencing at 9:00 AM. A preview of the items available for auction is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event will take place at the Horst Auction Center located at 50 Durlach Rd., Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Additionally, on Friday, August 22, there will be a new event titled “Meet on the Grass” Tool Meet from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, serving as a benefit event for MWTCA: Area P. This gathering will occur on the grass field prior to the auction preview.
Auction Highlights
The main auction will feature over 450 lots of antique tools, including:
- Fine “Henry Disston & Sons, Celebrated Saws” saw-shaped trade advertising sign
- Edge Tools: a variety of axes, hatchets, and adzes
- Wooden Molding Planes, including various specialized tools
- Metal Planes from well-known makers such as Stanley
- A large collection of measuring devices and shop-related tools
- Various unique primitive tools and antique books related to tools
- A garage area starting at 10:00 AM with more antique tools in need of restoration
